Festival Fier des Odd : 24 pays et 252 organisations de la société civile rassemblés à l’édition 2022
La 3ème édition 2022 du Festival International Fier des Odd a réuni au total 24 pays et 252 organisations de la société civile tant en Afrique, Europe, et Amérique du Sud avec pour mission de populariser les 17 Objectifs du Développement Durable non seulement dans les pays par des représentations nationales mais également proche des populations par la régionalisation de ses représentations.
Le réchauffement climatique touche directement les populations en ruralité comme dans les quartiers périphériques des métropoles. Tout au long de ses activités, FIER DES ODD a mesuré l’étendue de l’ignorance collective dans toutes les couches sociales concernant les 17 ODD. Selon le Secrétaire Général de FIER DES ODD « Le terme “développement durable” est davantage connu car utilisé de façon généraliste par les médias et les “experts” ou considérés comme tels. A FIER DES ODD, nous estimons indispensable de dépasser ce terme générique et d’instruire chacun sur la signification individuelle des 17 Objectifs ». « Nous estimons par ailleurs qu’il existe un fossé immense entre les institutions internationales, les États engagés dont les COP sont les tribunes ainsi que de nombreuses autres conférences, symposiums et leurs résultats pratiques pour les peuples » a-t-il ajouté.
Pour Marc Rotge, la COP 27 a brillé par son excellente organisation par l’Egypte mais au final qu’en sont les résultats efficaces ? Le seul résultat obtenu par les pays d’Afrique et d’Amérique du Sud est notamment le Fond d’indemnisation des dommages subis par les pays pauvres. « Nous craignons que cette promesse arrachée au forceps ne finisse comme bien d’autres, dans l’oubli » affirme-t-il.
Pour l’heure, il est nécessaire d’agir bien loin de toutes ces grandes messes en sensibilisant, en éduquant les plus jeunes comme leurs parents. Cela n’est possible que par l’implantation au cœur des villages, des quartiers, des écoles, des coopératives rurales, des ateliers, des commerces, des usines, des exploitations un collectif chargé de l’application des O.D.D. sur tous les territoires.
C’est pourquoi F.I.E.R. DES O.D.D. Fidèle à sa conception d’un ‘’Festival Eclate, Régionalisé” a procédé à une première phase d’installation de Représentations Nationales et Régionales dans 12 pays. Elles sont composées de personnes morales au travers d’OSC qui sont connues de leur communauté et agissent quotidiennement avec l’avantage de la proximité.
