Pourquoi vous êtes-vous engagé au festival FIER DES ODD ?
Plusieurs raisons m’ont amené, ainsi que mon équipe à participer à ce festival. Nous avons d’abord hésité au début, mais lorsque l’équipe a compris qu’il y avait des occasions à saisir au Festival FIER des ODD, cela est devenu encore plus intéressant.
Nous avons vu dans le festival trois (3) grandes opportunités de entre autre l’opportunité de valoriser nos activités ; l’occasion d’établir un lien direct avec les grandes organisations ; et aussi cette porte pour exercer librement les ODD que nous choisissons.
Que comptez-vous apporter de plus pour contribuer à ce festival ?
Nous ferons le maximum pour que ce festival soit un succès sur le terrain et plus précisément dans les pays où nous sommes représentés. Au Tchad, l’équipe a l’intention de planter autant d’arbres que possible. Et je veux vous dire que nos bénévoles ont déjà reçu les pépinières requises pour cette activité. Nous avons aussi prévu de distribuer des habits aux orphelins à N’Djamena. Et pour terminer le festival, une réunion sera organisée avec les jeunes pour leur parler des 17 objectifs de développement durable. Quant à l’équipe de la République démocratique du Congo, ils ont élaboré un programme plus efficace pour la semaine.
Des 17 ODD qui existent, lesquels vous intéressent plus ? Pourquoi ?
Notre association travaille en partie sur la base des 17 objectifs de développement durable. Et nous croyons que les ODD sont tous complémentaires, ODD 1 complémente ODD 2 et ainsi de suite. En d’autres termes, nous aimons tous ces ODD et tout simplement parce que ces objectifs de développement durable n’excluent personne.
Quel conseil pouvez-vous donner aux citoyens lambda qui vous liront ?
Je dirai qu’il faut abattre la peur de prendre de belles initiatives pour protéger notre planète ; abattre la peur d’agir afin de protéger notre planète.
