Gabon, l’univers médiatique associative s’enrichit avec L’inter-Association of the 4th Power
Lancement officiel le 2 juillet 2022 de l’inter-association of the 4th power antenne du Gabon sis à son siège provisoire du PK9 à Libreville. C’était en présence des représentants des associations de journalistes, éditeurs et anciens du milieu de la communication.
Le secteur de la communication au Gabon poursuit progressivement sa mue, en témoigne le lancement de l’inter-association of the 4th Power est une nouvelle dynamique qui regroupe désormais l’ensemble des associations des journalistes du Gabon, elle se veut professionnelle et entend apporter sa touche au sein de la corporation, mieux un instrument d’auto-regulation pour le bien-être des pratiquants de ce métier noble. Elle est une association apolitique et à but non lucratif. Elle ne fait aucune discrimination de race, religion, de sexe ou d’origine.
Représentée au Sénégal, en Guinée Conakry et au Cameroun, l’Inter-Association of the 4th Power (l’inter-association du 4ème pouvoir) est désormais présente au Gabon avec pour Coordonnateur Général de la section Gabon Rodrigue Maïssa Nkoma.
Lançant officiellement les travaux de ladite plateforme, devant les représentants d’associations des médias du Gabon, le Président national Rodrigue Maïssa Nkoma n’a pas manqué de manifester sa détermination à porter plus haut les valeurs du métier à travers le 4th Power (4ème pouvoir) « Je suis très heureux du lancement du 4th Power au Gabon et c’est une satisfaction puisque les débats ont convergé, nous pensons que l’enfant est né pour maintenant qu’il grandisse, qu’il marche, beaucoup reste à faire pour faire grandir davantage notre corporation, nous donner de la valeur et pour ce faire, nous avons besoin de tout le monde », a-t-il déclaré.
Cette organisation a pour mission d’améliorer les conditions de la pratique du journalisme, de favoriser le développement professionnel et de contribuer à la production d’une information de qualité et d’intérêt public au Gabon et en tout lui quelle est représenté.
Elle met un accent particulier sur la défense des droits et des intérêts de ses membres. De faite, la notion de fidélité à ce consortium, l’obligation de converger dans la même direction, de même que la notion de confidentialité s’impose ipso facto à ses membres. Par son acte d’adhésion chaque membre s’engage au respect du pacte de non agression qui doit prévaloir pour le respect de la corporation. La durée de l’inter-association of the 4power est illimitée. Le logo type est un globe terrestre qui renseigne sur la dimension internationale du mouvement.
Avec pour devise « Crédibilité et Professionnalisme », il faut reconnaitre que « le métier de communicateur ou de journaliste est noble et la noblesse passe par la crédibilité et le Professionnalisme, le 4th Power est une inter-association qui regroupe plusieurs associations de la corporation. Le but visé ici est de fédérer la corporation sur les idéaux de paix cadrant avec l’éthique et la déontologie, en insistant aussi sur les formations. Le lancement de l’antenne du Gabon permettra non seulement de fédérer les communicateurs sur le plan national, mais aussi de participer au concert des nations dans le métier.
Émettant le vœu de voir les pouvoirs publics accompagner cette nouvelle dynamique associative dans l’exercice de ses missions, le Coordonnateur Général de l’antenne du Gabon a annoncé pour très bientôt la première session de renforcement de capacités des journalistes.
