Gestion des déchets plastiques : L’entreprise Jules en visite à Namé Recycling
Dans le but de comprendre le processus de recyclage des matières plastiques, l’entreprise Jules a émis une visite à Namé Recycling avec certains membres de la société civile pour toucher du doigt le processus de transformation des bouteilles plastiques.
C’est le 29 octobre dernier que la visite a été effectuée. Pour Namé Recycling, les déchets plastiques sont des sources de problèmes de santé publique et de pollution environnementale. Les déchets plastiques constituent un réel problème pour le Cameroun. La gestion des déchets plastique à Namé Recycling passe par l’identification de la typologie des plastiques. Le processus de gestion met en exergue la technique de traitement mis en œuvre pour contribuer à l’assainissement des villes. Les travaux sur la performance des techniques de traitement des déchets plastiques ne sont pas aisés à trouver.
Pour traiter les déchets plastiques, Namé Recycling enlève tout d’abord les étiquettes, les bouchons et les anneaux sur les bouteilles ; ensuite on fait le tri en fonction du grade (A, B, C) et de la couleur ; enfin on effectue un prélavage.
Le recyclage à Namé Recycling a pour importance majeure d’aider à garder l’environnement propre ; de réduire la quantité de déchets produits ; d’aider à la conservation de nombreuses ressources non renouvelables ; d’économiser de l’énergie et aide ainsi à éviter la crise énergétique ; d’empêcher les décharges et les incinérateurs d’être extrêmement surchargés ; de sauver et de protéger l’économie d’un ménage ; d’aider à créer un de nouvelles opportunités d’emploi ; de restreindre la chasse aux matières premières.
Rappelons que Namé Recycling sensibilise dans les écoles en partenariat avec certaines associations ; incite au tri sélectif grâce à la pose des cages écologiques (Namé bin).
