Journée mondiale du recyclage, l’Ong Namé Recycling et la plateforme Destination Akanda sensibilisent sur le recyclage des déchets plastiques au Gabon
Le Gabon à l’instar de la communauté internationale a célébré le 18 mars 2022 la journée mondiale du recyclage. Occasion pour l’ONG Namé Recycling et la plateforme Destination Akanda de procéder à la sensibilisation des populations de la commune d’akanda sur le recyclage des déchets plastiques.
La protection de l’environnement passe aussi par le recyclage des déchets plastiques. Spécialisé dans cette activité, les jeunes de l’ONG Recycling en compagnie des jeunes de la plateforme destination Akanda ont procédé aux alentours du centre commercial Maxi CKDO dans la commune d’Akanda à la sensibilisation des populations. «Notre présence sur le terrain aujourd’hui c’est en rapport avec la journée mondiale du recyclage et nous avons voulu sensibilisé la population sur l’importance du recyclage, nous sommes là pour dire à la population que nous avons désormais une solution pour les déchets plastiques à savoir le recyclage des déchets plastiques. Nous invitons la population à effectuer le tri sélective des déchets à la maison sans lequel il est difficile de parler de recyclage. Une fois le tri effectué, les populations nous appellent et il nous revient de venir chercher les déchets plastiques pour le recyclage. » A expliquer Diane Djaba la Directrice Générale de l’ONG Namé Recycling.
Pour sa part, Gael Nambo Président de la plateforme Destination Akanda et responsable environnemental à la mairie Akanda a justifié la participation de sa plateforme dans cette campagne de sensibilisation. «A l’occasion de la journée mondiale du recyclage, notre commune a jugé utile d’informer la population de ce que les déchets plastiques au Gabon peuvent être recyclé et cela grâce au concours de l’ONG Namé Recycling qui est ici parmi nous. Pour cela nous recommandons aux populations de désormais procéder au tri des déchets plastiques et une fois le tri effectuer d’appeler les équipes de l’ONG Namé Recycling qui viendront prendre ces déchets pour le recyclage et de ce faits ca permettra de garder notre environnement plus salubre. » A-t-il précisé.
Très réceptifs aux messages de sensibilisations, les populations ont salué l’action émise par ces deux entités sociales.
