L’interactivité dans les échanges avec les ingénieurs et techniciens sur le terrain, participe de la volonté du patron des transports à s’approprier définitivement le programme de consolidation des zones instables à l’origine des déraillements de trains minéraliers, et à terme d’amorcer leprojet de construction d’une seconde voie devenue un impératif pour la survie de ce patrimoine economique legue par feu le Président Omar BONGO ONDIMBA.
La réhabilitation de ce chemin de fer vieux de plus de 40 ans, est l’une des priorités du Chef de l’Etat Ali BONGO ONDIMBA en parfaite adéquation avec le plan d’accélération et de la transformation (PAT) et le mécanisme de financement soumis par l’exploitant et concessionnaire la SETRAG explique le niveau d’engagement du Gouvernement dans l’amélioration de l’offre des transports par voie ferroviaire.
