Gestion publique : Le Cameroun veut lancer les études environnementales du projet de construction de deux unités d’extraction d’ananas
Grâce à un financement de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), le Cameroun veut lancer les études environnementales du projet de construction de deux unités mobiles d’extraction d’ananas, dans la localité d’Awae, région du Centre, et à Manjo, dans le Littoral.
En effet, la coordination du Projet de développement des chaînes de valeur agricoles (PD-CVA) logé au sein du ministre en charge de l’Agriculture (Minader) vient de lancer deux avis à manifestation d’intérêt pour recruter des firmes de consultants pour réaliser une étude d’impact environnemental et social sommaire dans le cadre de ces travaux.
Les consultants ont pour mission de mettre en contexte et d’écrire en détail le projet des usines d’extraction ; analyser les variantes y compris les technologies relatives à la gestion des amandes, des boues, et rafles ; analyser l’efficacité et la durabilité des options d’approvisionnement en ananas, d’alimentation en eau et en électricité des usines ; délimiter les différentes zones d’impacts du projet des unités d’extractions et décrire (avec support cartographique) l’état initial de l’environnement des sites, ainsi que l’emprise du tracé des lignes électriques triphasées ; analyser le statut foncier des sites d’implantations des usines, etc. Les firmes intéressées doivent déposer leur candidature au plus tard le 13 janvier 2023.
Avant cet appel à manifestation d’intérêt, le ministère de l’Agriculture avait déjà lancé en juin 2023, un appel d’offres en vue de la sélection, cette fois-là, des fournisseurs devant livrer et installer, en 2 lots, ces deux unités mobiles d’extraction de jus d’ananas, d’une capacité nominale de 20 tonnes par jour. Les résultats de cet appel d’offres n’ont pas encore été rendus publics. Le PD-CVA est conjointement financé depuis 2017 par le groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (77 %) et l’État du Cameroun, pour un montant total de 75 milliards de FCFA.
