Ecologie : Vers la valorisation des métiers de l’économie verte
Sous la coordination l’association Fresh Impetus, plusieurs organisations de la société civile ont initié le projet Econom-Eco dans plusieurs villes du Cameroun dont la première phase s’est déroulée dans la ville de Douala du 06 au 09 juillet dernier. Ledit projet bénéficie de l’appui institutionnel et technique de la chambre d’agriculture des pêches, de l’élevage et des forets (Capef)
La première phase de formation s’est déroulée dans une chefferie de Douala. L’enjeu est de promouvoir l’économie verte, l’économie circulaire, l’économie durable et tous les métiers qui ont pour finalité de réduire les pressions des hommes sur l’environnement. « Le constat que nous avons fait est qu’il y a de plus en plus de déchets et de consommation. Les ressources sont limitées. On s’est dit que, la meilleure façon de résoudre le problème, c’est de démonter réellement la valeur du déchet mais aussi que les métiers qui sont écologiques rapportent autant que les autres métiers surtout à partir de ressources et espaces réduites » déclare Zengue Ulrich, Coordonnateur de l’association Fresh Impetus. « On aspire à faire les 10 régions dont une ou deux localités par région dans le long terme. Pour la phase pilote, on commence du 5 jusqu’au 30 septembre. On va atteindre toutes les autres villes qui nous ouvriraient leurs portes sur le long terme. Les localités rurales sont véritablement ciblées. Les villes urbaines par rapport aux déchets sont ciblées et tout le Cameroun en entier. L’idée est vraiment de démonter les valeurs de la préservation de l’environnement, l’apport économique que cela peut créer en générant de nouveaux emplois en résolvant le problème des déchets » a-t-il ajouté.
Notons que le charbon écologique se fait à partir des déchets organiques. La poubelle peut être transformée en quelque chose d’utile de commercialisable. Comme autre transformation fait à partir des déchets organiques, on a le biogaz qui se fait à partir de la méthanisation ; le champignon qui peut se faire dans des espaces très réduits à partir de ce qu’on appelle communément les déchets de maïs. La pisciculture est aussi une activité pérenne qui permet de contribuer à la sécurité alimentaire et résoudre un certain nombre de besoin communautaire lié à l’alimentation. Concernant la production des jus naturel, le coordonnateur de Fresh Impetus pense qu’il faudrait qu’on arrive à la valoriser pour que ce soit une pratique partagée qui peut générer des petits entrepreneurs chacun avec sa marque de séchage de fruits.
