Ordre National des Environnementalistes : Le Minepded valide la création
L’association Ordre nationale en environnement, forêt et faune du Cameroun (Aonefc) a été reçu en audience ce 3 novembre par Hélé Pierre, Ministre de l’environnement, de la protection de la nature et du développement durable (Minepded) en vue de la création de l’Ordre national des environnementalistes.
Il est 11 heures passé de quelques minutes dans la cité capitale lorsque Hélé Pierre, Ministre de l’environnement, de la protection de la nature et du développement durable (Minepded) reçoit en audience l’association Ordre nationale en environnement, forêt et faune du Cameroun (Aonefc). A l’ordre du jour le projet de création de l’ordre national des environnementalistes. Apres plusieurs échanges, le Ministre Hélé Pierre a validé l’idée de création de l’ordre national des environnementalistes.
Selon l’Aonefc, l’idée de création d’un Ordre national des environnementalistes du Cameroun vient de plusieurs constat à savoir l’absence de codification du métier d’environnementaliste ; la baisse progressive et éthique de la déontologie de certaines personnes exerçant comme professionnel du domaine ; la remise en cause des compétences et de l’intégrité des professionnels sur lesquels l’Etat peut compter ; plusieurs jeunes formés dans les métiers de l’environnement au Cameroun peine à s’insérer dans le monde de l’emploi à cause de la présence des personnes non qualifiées exerçant dans ce domaine ; l’absence d’une plateforme facilitant l’insertion des jeunes diplômés du domaine ; l’absence d’une organe capable de proposer des politiques environnementales sur la base des recherches scientifique pour l’accompagnement du ministère en charge de la protection de l’environnement ; l’inadaptation de certaines mesures de gestion environnementale dans le cadre de certain projet de développement dû au manque de professionnalisme de certain bureau d’étude.
Pour l’Aonefc, le projet de l’ordre est définit l’environnementaliste comme une personne qui a la capacité intellectuelle de se préoccuper des problèmes liés à la gestion environnementale et qui est reconnu par ses pairs comme tel. L’environnementaliste doit avoir minimum un Bac+3 en sciences et techniques de l’environnement (Gestion des ressources naturelles et des activités humaines) et ayant une expérience avérée.
